Nanaimo Home Expo September 28-30 Come and visit local government staff who will be on hand to discuss Net Zero high performance homes & energy rebates
Passive House Tour October 6
11:00 am – 3:00 pm		 Tour the Nanaimo Aboriginal Centre in Central Nanaimo
Local Energy Efficiency Partnership (LEEP) Technology Forum October 19
8:30 am – 4:00 pm		 Register and attend the LEEP Technology Forum and learn about energy efficient wall, mechanical and renewable systems
Building Smart Workshop October 25
7:30 – 9:00 am		 Join local government staff for a breakfast meet & greet in the Emerald Woods subdivision development, an energy advisor will be on hand to answer questions at the show home
3:00 – 6:00 pm Open house and tour the Emerald Woods grounds to learn more about low impact development
Renovate To Reduce Energy Consumption Tour October 27
12:00 – 3:00 pm		 Tour an older renovated home and meet an energy advisor who will do an energy assessment to learn how you can reduce your energy bills

HOW TO REGISTER

Free Activities The RDN’s 2018 Green Building Series will focus on home efficiency for new and older homes. It will be of interest to home owners, builders and architects.

The RDN and City of Nanaimo are partnering with local builders, energy advisors and home owners to showcase examples of energy efficient homes and sustainable planning elements.

There will be opportunities to learn about the role of an energy advisor, available rebates and a solar energy demo site tour.
