Changes in the Park!

In May, 2017, participants at a stakeholder planning workshop revisited the 2013 Management Plan for Moorecroft Regional Park to review and refine the ideas around future park amenities. From this workshop, an updated concept plan was prepared, and priorities for improvements, building on the ideas in the original management plan, were identified. A workshop summary outlines the process, who participated, and key topics that were addressed. The RDN Board approved the upcoming changes for the park in 2018:

• Vault toilets, as an improvement over the portable toilets currently serving park visitors.
• Removal of Ms. Moore's cabin and installation of benches and viewing area on the site.
