District 69 Community Justice Service Grants
The Regional District of Nanaimo provides grant funding in order to support organizations which help to increase the safety of their community.The D69 Community Justice Select committee is composed of one director from each of the municipalities of Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Electoral Areas E, F, G and H. Together, these communities raise up to $9,000 to support community safety initiatives. Examples include, but are not limited to, Citizens on Patrol and Speedwatch.
Grant Applications will be considered from organizations which:
- Are non-profit and provide programs and services that help increase the safety of their community.
- Are local in nature and can be identified with the specific community.
