Bylaws, Documents, and Reports
Phase 1 of the Bylaw and Policy Updates project involved reviewing Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) regulations and policies to identify potential obstacles to agriculture in the region as well as some possible approaches for how the obstacles could be addressed. Phases 2 and 3 involved reviewing and confirming research with the AAC, engaging community and external stakeholders, and determining the level of support for the proposed amendments. Phase 4 involved initiating amendments to Bylaw 500 and 1285. These amendments have now been adopted.
