Horne Lake Regional Park
Nestled under Mount Mark at the west end of Horne Lake beside famous Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park, the 109 hectare regional park boasts over five kilometres of lake and riverfront to enjoy and explore. A boat ramp, canoe and kayak rentals along with day-use picnicking area complement the campground's rustic wooded and lakefront sites. A range of programmed recreation and nature interpretation means many adventures to remember when you go to Horne Lake Regional Park.
How to get there
Take exit 75 off Hwy 19 to the junction with Horne Lake Caves Rd; turn inland and follow signs to Horne Lake Regional Park. Horne Lake Caves Rd is a narrow, gravel road and is used by logging trucks. See Location Map for directions.Campground Reservations
Individual campsite and group camping is available year-round at this park. Campsites can be reserved between April 1 and October 15 and are on a first-come, first served basis for the rest of the year. Reservations for campsites can be made up to four (4) months in advance and up to two (2) days prior to your arrival date.Things To Do

The Park offers spectacular views of area mountains and cliffs and is a great jumping off place to explore the Caves at the Provincial Park, the Big Qualicum River Regional Trail and the Lighthouse Country Trail. The Lighthouse Country communities of Qualicum Bay and Bowser are situated about 25 kilometres to the east along the oceanfront, and are the nearest location for gas, groceries, restaurants and other amenities.Things to know
