Living by the Water: Streamside Landowners Workshop
Some of us are lucky enough to live on or near a creek or stream. Life by the streamside is unique; especially when it comes to landscaping. This in-situ workshop takes place beside beautiful Nile Creek, where biologist Dave Clough will talk about stream life, backyard activity awareness, streambank erosion prevention and demonstrate native plant landscaping. Participants will come away with knowledge of how to care for their streamside property and take home a native plant seedling to get started planting!
- Sat. March 29th | Nile Creek Hatchery - end of Charlton Road, Bowser | 1:30pm - 3:00pm
- Sat. April 5th | Departure Creek - meet at Kin Hut 2730 Departure Bay Road | 10:30am - 12:00 noon
